Fade to Grey Festival 2008
Fade To Grey 2008
Due to the great success and the support received for the Festival last year, the major event will this year be a two day bash. Proceeds will again be going to help the Gilbert Richards Centre in Earlsdon and this year shared with Coventry MIND'S Vibes Childrens and Young People's Centre in Far Gosford Street, Coventry.
Vibes offers a range of information and Education services to children and young people aged 8-25.
The Gilbert Richards Centre is a vital asset to many local residents in and around Earlsdon and provides social support and educational classes too many older people
A truly age spanning and representative effort this year!
We are bringing back the Earlsdon Fun Run and we'll have some top celebs handing out prizes. The Saturday will see lots of fantastic performances on 3 stages, both days will see Street Entertainers, Egyptian Belly Dancers, Clowns, Samba drumming, Face painting and lots of stalls.
The organisation and band booking for the event is taking place right now and anyone with any ideas or who would like to have a stall could they contact Marianne via email (link below) or through the Albany Club We are looking for multi cultural stalls, craft stalls, organic veg stalls, etc .
The festivals aims are to provide a bridge of common interest and meaningful interchange between different age, race, ability and economic groups and different cultures in our area and to provide an opportunity for people to engage in community activity.
