The New Old Arrivals

We all know that the Albany Club serves a great pint, and all credit to the Steward and our staff for this. Here you can request something you'd like to see on the bar....

The New Old Arrivals

A tale entitled "Listen lads, I've got a great idea"

After literally years of opposition, argument and difficulties in one form or another the Club is going to sell REAL ALE :D

Following a quick opinion poll as to our first guest ale in the Club the other night, the popular consensus is Green King's "Abbot" ale.
The pumps and equipment are all in place, and we'll see the first pints flowing from the new bar fittings in about a weeks time, probably on Saturday.

I, by virtue of my esteemed position of Trustee, long time advocate of said beverages and fully qualified expert/lush have reserved the first gallon for my own personal gratification.

If the Committee get their fingers out I could follow that up with a FULL BOTTLE of my favourite 'Soud Effrikaan' Merlot red wine, which is also making a miraculous second coming together with other wine vintages in full bottle form on sale at the bar......

Real Ale Update

Facilities are now in place to sell a further guest ale. We have been looking at the range from Warwickshire Brewery Church End and your thoughts are invited as always about the beer you'd like to see.
